This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aims to support vulnerable residents and contribute to food security within our surrounding communities.
It hopes to extend beyond in collaboration with local authorities and private sectors, ensuring access to healthy and nutritious foods from our farm to their pots.
Our Mission: To support the aged and vulnerables in need with a balanced mix of fresh produce, grains, and protein sources from our farms for a healthy life.
Our Commitment: A portion of our company’s produce will be dedicated to Gratykem Foodbank initiative, ensuring a steady stream of fresh farm produce. We believe that by nourishing our community, we are not just providing food, but also cultivating a better society for all.
Multiple Avenues for Support: The Gratykem Foodbank initiative welcomes support and contributions from generous individuals, organizations and government parastatals who share our commitment to fighting food insecurity.
Here’s how you can participate:
- Government Donations/Participation: Working together with the local community and government, this will afford us access to public spaces which will make significant impact on our mission. Access to databases of residents in the community will ensure planning, distribution schedules and locations to maximize accessibility for residents.
- Corporate Donations: Companies can donate surplus fresh produce, non-perishable food items, or financial contributions to support the initiative. We offer various donation tiers with recognition opportunities to acknowledge the valuable support of our corporate partners.
- Individual Donations: Individuals can donate non-perishable food items or make financial contributions through our secure online platform. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference in the lives of those facing hunger.
- Volunteering: Engaging local volunteers to assist with food sorting, packing, and distribution events.
